“For God so loved the world He gave His  only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John chapter 3 verse 16, The Bible

What happens after we die?

The Bible tells us that human beings have eternal souls that will live consciously for all eternity.  We were designed to live eternally in fellowship with God.  However, we are all sinners and cannot be in fellowship with God because of our disobedience and rebellion.  In order for us to live in fellowship with God our sins must be forgiven through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ God’s Son who died for us and rose again.  Either we will live eternally in fellowship with God in Heaven, or we will live eternally in a place the Bible calls Hell.  Our sins must be judged and paid for.  Jesus died on the Cross and rose again to pay for our sins if we will ask Him, and then follow Him.  But anyone who rejects Jesus Christ as their Saviour will have to pay for their sins themselves forever in Hell.

This question has its most excellent answer in John Blanchard’s booklet ‘Where do we go from here?’  If you visit www.10ofthose.com you will be able to find it.
